Universal Orlando just made a big update to its Universal Express offerings: Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Islands of Adventure has officially started accepting Universal Express, the park’s express line system.

Universal Express is a paid add-on that provides access to shorter lines. However, guests staying at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and the Hard Rock Hotel can enjoy this benefit at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida at no additional cost as part of their accommodation.

Since its grand opening in June 2019, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has been a popular thrill ride, transporting guests into the world of Harry Potter. The attraction features a unique motorbike ride vehicle that weaves through the Forbidden Forest, offering encounters with some of the wizarding world’s magical creatures.

Historically, Universal Orlando tends to withhold Universal Express availability from attractions anticipated to draw large crowds, especially those themed around Harry Potter, in order to prevent overall wait times from being adversely affected. This was evident with “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” and “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts,” which launched without Express access but later incorporated it. Similarly, the newly opened Harry Potter ride at Epic Universe, “Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry,” currently does not accept Express.
