The ride itself introduces a radically different concept for Universal, offering a fresh experience while incorporating familiar ride technology found in other Universal Orlando attractions. You board an innovative elevator-style vehicle capable of moving in every direction—up, down, forward, backward, and sideways—mirroring what's seen in the films. The ride uses expansive screens and animatronics of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Dolores Umbridge, and Death Eaters, along with an Erumpent, to immerse you in the story. The physical sets and screens are impressively large, and despite the heavy reliance on digital visuals, their exceptional quality significantly enhances the realism of the attraction.
