Southern California boasts a mild and pleasant climate, characterized by sunny skies and temperate conditions throughout the year. Summers are warm and dry with temperatures typically ranging from the mid-80s to mid-90s Fahrenheit (28°C-36°C), while winters are cool, with temperatures typically falling in the 40s or 50s Fahrenheit (4°C-15°C) at night and an average high of 85°F (29°C). The region experiences minimal rainfall.
Getting Around
Southern California relies heavily on cars, making car rentals a recommended option. Although less convenient, buses, subways, and light rail services are available for a fee to various attractions in the region, including Universal Studios Hollywood. Ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft are also viable alternatives.
