Universal Orlando has officially confirmed that a dedicated nighttime spectacular is coming to Epic Universe. Starting July 7, guests will be able to end their visit with Universal Celestial Goodnight, a new show that will fill Celestial Park, the park’s hub.

The announcement follows months of speculation surrounding a permanent nighttime offering at the park. Reports about the Universal Celestial Goodnight name first surfaced late last year after Universal filed a trademark application for the title. Since then, fans have closely followed visible work throughout the park, where new infrastructure and upgrades have been installed in recent months, fueling expectations that a large-scale nighttime production was in development.

Universal says the show will happen nightly and will pay tribute to the characters and adventures within each of the park’s themed worlds, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe.

The nighttime spectacular will utilize fireworks, nearly 600 synchronized lighting fixtures, over 350 fountains, and seven million LED lights woven throughout Celestial Park. Lighting, water effects, and music will work together across the park’s landscape, stretching from Luna to Apollo.
