The highly anticipated trailer for The Exorcist: Believer has officially been released online after it debuted in theaters before showings of Oppenheimer. This upcoming supernatural thriller, directed by David Gordon Green, is the first in a planned trilogy of films.
Green, who directed the recent Halloween films says, “The concept of [The Exorcist: Believer] is two young girls disappear after school one day. When they return, they are in a different mental state and exhibiting some peculiar attributes.”
The new film will see the return of Ellen Burstyn, who played the mother of Regan MacNeil.
