Internationally, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire earned $16.4 million at the box office, culminating in a combined global opening of $61.6 million. The film had a reported production budget of $100 million.
Earnings from the new Ghostbusters movie contributed to the franchise surpassing the $1 billion mark in global revenue.
