Walt Disney World has announced that The Magic of Disney Animation will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 14, 2026.

The new attraction is housed in a building inspired by the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in California, complete with Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat on the roof. Inside, guests will explore multiple experiences celebrating the art of Disney animation.

The collection of experiences inside include Drawn to Wonderland, Off the Page!, Olaf Draws!, the Once Upon A Studio Theater, and more.

Drawn to Wonderland is an immersive indoor playground inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair’s original Alice in Wonderland concept art, giving younger guests a place to play while surrounded by Disney storytelling.

In Off the Page!, guests can meet Disney Animation characters in environments inspired by different stages of the animation process. Characters including Mulan, Rapunzel, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Stitch will appear throughout the experience.

Olaf Draws! features an all-new Audio-Animatronic Olaf who guides guests through interactive drawing lessons. Each session focuses on a different Disney character and includes instruction from Disney Animation artists.

The opening of The Magic of Disney Animation completes the transformation of the former Animation Courtyard into The Walt Disney Studios. The remainder of the reimagined land opened in May 2026.
