Universal Orlando has announced that Fast & Furious – Supercharged will permanently close sooner than originally planned, with the attraction now set to end operations next month.
The final day to experience the ride will be August 16, 2026. Universal previously announced that the attraction would close in 2027, aligning with the opening year of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the all-new high-speed roller coaster currently under construction.
No reason was given for the earlier closure, and Universal has not announced what will replace the attraction at Universal Studios Florida.
Fast & Furious – Supercharged opened in 2018, taking over the former Disaster! attraction and Beetlejuice show.
Despite being based on one of Universal’s biggest film franchises, the attraction quickly developed a reputation as one of the resort’s least popular rides. Many guests criticize its heavy reliance on screens and simulated motion.
