One of Universal Studios Florida’s longest-running attractions is coming to an end.
Universal Orlando has confirmed that Animal Actors on Location! will permanently close this fall, with the show’s final performances scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026. The attraction will no longer be available beginning the following day.
“Animal Actors On Location! will run its last shows on Monday, November 2. The show will no longer be available beginning Tuesday, November 3,” Universal Orlando said in response to a comment on social media.
The attraction has been entertaining audiences at Universal Studios Florida since the park opened in 1990. Originally known as Animal Actors Stage, the show has gone through several names and updates over the years, becoming Animal Planet Live in 2001 before taking on its current name in 2006.
Its closure will remove one of the park’s oldest attractions from the lineup. Only two other opening-day attractions remain at Universal Studios Florida: E.T. Adventure and Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show. The latter is currently undergoing a major update.
Animal Actors on Location! has long entertained audiences with trained animals performing a variety of tricks and interacting with the audience, making it a popular family-friendly attraction at the park.
Universal has not announced what will take the place of Animal Actors on Location! after it closes.
