Universal Orlando has officially revealed details about their all-new nighttime show—”Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration.” This nighttime extravaganza is replacing the resort’s previous show—Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular—which was damaged during Hurricane Irma last year.

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration will debut this summer at Universal Studios Florida’s lagoon area, like the park’s previous nighttime shows; however, Cinematic Celebration will feature a dedicated viewing area in the Central Park area in an attempt to offer guests a better experience. Documents show that the viewing area will provide varying elevated levels.

According to Universal’s announcement, the new nighttime show “will bring thrilling and fun moments to life inspired by characters from popular Universal Orlando experiences and blockbuster films.” This includes moments from the Harry Potter films, Jurassic World, Fast & Furious, and Despicable Me.

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration will completely transform Universal Studios Florida’s waterfront areas at dusk by incorporating full panoramic screens, fireworks, and 120 dancing fountains with projection mapping, creating a “vivid celebration of epic movie moments and beloved characters.”

An official launch date for this show has not yet been announced.
