Ahead of the grand opening of Universal Orlando‘s newest theme park, Epic Universe, slated for May 22, 2025, Universal has announced the National Epic Universe Portal Tour, set to kick off in select cities across the U.S. this spring. The tour aims to provide fans with a glimpse into the features of the upcoming park.

The Epic Universe Portal Tour will make stops in four major cities: Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Each location will feature a 30-foot-tall Chronos as its centerpiece. This structure is a replica of the icon of Epic Universe and the gateway that guests will enter to experience the park’s five themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

Attendees at the tour will have the opportunity to interact with the Chronos, witnessing sequences that bring to life the adventures awaiting them in the new theme park. Attendees can also capture photos beside the structure and return in the evening for a night show featuring dynamic lighting and all-encompassing music.

Additionally, the tour presents a chance for attendees to participate in a sweepstakes to win a trip to Universal Orlando and experience Epic Universe firsthand.

The National Epic Universe Portal Tour will be open to visitors on the following dates from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (subject to change):

  • April 11-13: Atlanta, Georgia at Pemberton Place (adjacent to the World of Coca-Cola)
