Universal Orlando has provided details regarding the extended closure of the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Epic Universe.
In a statement to WESH 2, Universal Orlando said the attraction will remain closed through April 5 as it undergoes its annual inspection and maintenance. The company also noted that “additional capacity enhancements” are being completed during the downtime, which has contributed to the extended closure.

Stardust Racers first closed on February 19 and was initially scheduled to reopen on February 22. The reopening date was later moved to February 28 before being postponed again. Most recently, the attraction had been set to remain closed through March 14. On Wednesday, however, that timeline was pushed back, with the ride expected to stay closed through April 5.
Stardust Racers is a high-speed roller coaster that reaches speeds of 62 miles per hour and climbs to a height of 133 feet. The attraction officially opened on May 22, 2025, alongside the debut of Epic Universe, the newest theme park at Universal Orlando.
