NBCUniversal and YouTube have entered into a new multi-year partnership that will bring Peacock’s content library to YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States beginning early next year. The agreement also expands the international availability of NBCUniversal streaming services Universal+ and Hayu, combining YouTube’s global platform and creator ecosystem with NBCUniversal’s portfolio of entertainment.

Under the agreement, YouTube Premium members will have access to Peacock’s complete lineup—including Peacock original programming, NBC Sports coverage, Bravo series, and Universal Pictures’ films—through the ad-supported Peacock Premium offering directly within YouTube.

YouTube Premium currently offers subscribers an ad-free viewing experience, offline downloads, and additional features. The service includes several subscription options, with the individual plan priced at $15.99 per month. Peacock Premium, which provides access to the streaming service’s entire content library with ads, is currently available for $10.99 per month.

The partnership represents Peacock’s largest wholesale distribution agreement to date and comes as NBCUniversal works to strengthen the streaming service’s position against competitors like Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max. As audiences continue moving away from traditional cable in favor of streaming platforms, media companies have increasingly relied on partnerships and bundled offerings to attract and retain subscribers. Peacock recently reached profitability for the first time and has continued expanding its subscriber base as NBCUniversal looks for new ways to increase the service’s reach.

“This partnership brings NBCUniversal’s world-class content and iconic franchises to YouTube’s unmatched scale and global platforms,” said Mike Cavanagh, Co-CEO of Comcast Corporation, NBCUniversal’s parent company. “We’re excited to deepen our relationship with YouTube through a collaboration that reflects our strategy of partnering with industry leaders to drive sustained growth for NBCUniversal.”

“We’re incredibly excited to expand our partnership with NBCUniversal to redefine what a modern entertainment subscription can be for consumers,” said Neal Mohan, CEO of YouTube. “YouTube Premium brings your favorite creators, artists and cultural moments together uninterrupted, and now, we’re pairing that ultimate viewing experience with Peacock’s expansive lineup of live sports like Sunday Night Football and the NBA, blockbuster Universal movies, and original series. This makes it easier than ever for our members to find and watch all the premium content they love, all in one place.”
