A new dining option is coming to Universal Orlando’s CityWalk, as Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice prepares to welcome guests beginning Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The restaurant was founded by *NSYNC member Joey Fatone and his manager, Joe Mulvihill. It takes over the space previously occupied by Hot Dog Hall of Fame, which closed in July 2026.
Fat One’s menu puts a spin on the classic hot dog, with nine specialty creations. Among the offerings is The Fat One, a footlong hot dog topped with roasted pork, pepperoni, chili beans, cheddar cheese sauce, red onion sauce, pop fries, and chives on a soft bun.
Other options include The Brazilian, featuring grilled linguica sausage, onion sauce, jalapeño veganaise, cotija, Calabrian honey, red peppers, cilantro, and potato sticks on a brioche bun, as well as the Dirty K-Pop Dog, which combines a Korean-inspired hot dog with kimchi slaw, spicy gochujang mayo, scallions, crispy onions, and black sesame on a brioche bun.
The menu extends beyond hot dogs, with Italian ices available in multiple flavors along with specialty beers.
The opening will also bring Fatone himself to CityWalk for a special launch-day appearance. Fatone and Mulvihill are scheduled to be at the restaurant on September 19 to greet guests.
Those arriving early will have an opportunity to receive a free hot dog served by Fatone. The first 100 guests will receive wristbands for the offer, while Fatone will also remain at the location for a limited time to take photos with guests.
Guests hoping to attend the opening are encouraged to arrive at 10:00 a.m. Space is limited, and participation will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
