Netflix has announced a new spy drama that will reunite Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour, with the streaming service giving the series a straight-to-series order.

Produced by A24, the upcoming thriller reunites Brown and Harbour as daughter and father, this time in a story centered on an FBI mission. The series is being written and executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Jack Thorne, whose previous Netflix work includes Adolescence and Lord of the Flies. Brown and Harbour will also serve as executive producers.

The story centers on Matt Wolfe, played by Harbour, a former FBI agent whose career ended in disgrace before he transitioned into private security. His life is shattered when his estranged daughter Rebecca, portrayed by Brown, disappears while carrying out an FBI mission. Determined to find her, Matt is forced back into the intelligence world he left behind, navigating an agency and a profession that has evolved beyond him.

“We are delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with before,” said Jinny Howe, Netflix head of scripted series for the U.S. and Canada. “Jack Thorne’s ability to find the deeply human story inside a thriller is unmatched, and watching Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite — this time as estranged father and daughter on opposite sides of a crisis — is something audiences are going to love. A24 is the perfect partner to bring this story to our members around the world.”

Additional executive producers include Jake Bongiovi and Robert Brown for PCMA Productions, Joe Hipps and Patrick McDonald for Cut To, and KC Wenson for Bravo Axolotl.

Netflix has not announced a premiere date or official title for the new spy drama.
