Emergency crews responded to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel on Thursday evening after a fire broke out at the resort.

Smoke could be seen rising above the Dolphin Hotel, which is located between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as firefighters responded to the scene. Photos and videos shared by guests nearby showed a plume of smoke coming from the hotel.

The lobby and some guest rooms were evacuated during the incident, and guests were not permitted to enter the hotel while firefighters worked to contain the blaze, which has since been extinguished.

According to a public relations official, the fire broke out in the kitchen of the Bourbon Steak restaurant. The hotel was not damaged, though the restaurant was affected and will remain closed until further notice.
