Magic Kingdom is adorned for the holiday season as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins this week on November 7, 2025. Over in Tomorrowland, the Cool Ship snack kiosk has been replaced by Astrofizz. This photo update takes a closer look at both updates.
Christmas Decorations
Christmas decorations began appearing throughout Magic Kingdom on Sunday, November 2, with each themed land featuring its own unique holiday touches. There are also decorations at the Transportation & Ticket Center, the Magic Kingdom’s parking lot.
Cool Ship Kiosk Replaced
In May 2025, the Cool Ship snack kiosk in Tomorrowland closed for refurbishment, with the Walt Disney World website noting it would reopen later in the year. The former structure was removed entirely and replaced with a sleeker, modern design that does away with the red ship on top, bringing its style in line with Tomorrowland’s current look. The kiosk opened to guests last week, featuring a refreshed menu; however, instead of reopening as Cool Ship, Disney renamed the location Astrofizz.
