Disney has revealed new details about the ongoing renovation of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, including announcing the name and opening date for the resort’s latest addition: The Perch.

Set to open on November 10, The Perch will serve as the Grand Floridian’s new lobby bar, taking inspiration from the iconic birdcage that once stood in the same spot. The new space is designed to honor the resort’s Victorian roots, featuring intricate woodwork, herringbone tile, and custom stained glass that reflects subtle hues.

Guests can sip and savor from a light menu that includes champagne, wine, beer, and two signature cocktails: the Sunshine State Rum Sazerac and the Floridian 75. Additionally, a non-alcoholic option will be available—the Blueberry and Basil Iced Tea, a blend of lemon, blueberry, and basil tea.

In addition to The Perch, Disney also shared that the Garden View Lounge will reopen in early 2026. The refreshed lounge will complement the resort’s updated lobby design and introduce a new tea experience infused with whimsical Disney touches for guests of all ages.
