Universal Pictures and Illumination have officially unveiled Not Alone, a new original animated film that will bring Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez together as the film’s lead voices.

Scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 16, 2027, the movie centers on Joe, a reserved mechanic who lives a quiet life alone, and Fran, an ambitious scientist developing a groundbreaking spacecraft powered by plants. Tasked with preparing the rocket for its inaugural launch, they find themselves navigating a growing personal connection.

After discovering Fran’s experimental rocket, they believe it may be their only chance to return safely to their home world.
