A new character from Toy Story 5 is coming to Walt Disney World, with Lilypad set to become part of Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning September 25, 2026.

The frog-shaped smart tablet will take on the role of a DJ in Toy Story Land, introducing an all-new soundtrack to Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams. The updated music will combine reworked songs from the Toy Story films with original tracks created specifically for the ride.

Lilypad will become part of the attraction’s story as she takes control of the music heard throughout the ride, connecting to the internet to remix and mash up different tunes from a variety of music styles and genres.

Disney says the new soundtrack was produced with musicians in Nashville and draws from several genres, including pop, country, EDM, and alternative rock. The collection includes new songs such as “Pizza Planet Promo,” an in-story track for the Pizza Planet arcade, and “Spin It Back, Lilypad,” which centers on the new character. It also features reimagined versions of beloved tunes, like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together,” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.”

Lilypad will also interact with guests in the surrounding Toy Story Land area. Guests will be able to sing along, guess which toy she’s doodling, participate in puzzles, and watch “home videos” featuring characters from the Toy Story films.

The addition comes just two days after Toy Story 5 arrives on Disney+ on September 23, 2026.
