If you thought Universal Orlando finished filing permits… think again because they’re just getting started! Yesterday, the resort filed three new permits all titled as “Project 611.” These permits call for demolition, renovation, and a new trailer and all have an application date of June 26, 2015. Like usually, the permits do not reveal exactly what Universal Orlando plans to do, but the permits all together have a total fee of approximately $10.6K.
We cannot confirm what Universal Orlando plans to do, but we can confirm that the resort does plan to demolish the interior of a building, renovate it, and add a brand new trailer. We can also say that this will all be one project because all three permits are titled as “Project 611.”
Based on speculation, this could be a renovation for The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The attraction could receive mechanical updates and a new queue.
We’ll update you as more details become available.
