Universal Orlando has announced the reopening of its CityWalk complex on May 14th. The complex has been shut down since mid-March due to concerns about the novel coronavirus. According to Universal, select CityWalk venues will open from 4 pm to 10 pm daily, until further notice. During this time, self- parking is complimentary to all guests.
Guests visiting the Universal CityWalk, as well as team members, will be required to wear a facial covering during their visit. Tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces will be disinfected frequently. Floor decals will be placed in certain areas throughout the complex to help guests maintain 6 feet distance. Additionally, all guests and team members will receive a temperature check upon arrival (those with a temperature of 100.4°F will not be admitted). Social distancing is encouraged between your travel party and others.
The following venues are scheduled to reopen on May 14th:
- Auntie Anne’s Pretzels
- Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
- Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville
- Red Oven Pizza Bakery
- Voodoo Doughnut
- Airbrush
- Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company (retail only)
- Universal Studios Store and select merchandise carts
- Hollywood Drive-In Golf
Restaurants will have a limited menu and limited seating will be available. All nightclubs, Blue Man Group, and Universal Cinemark will remain closed.
Universal Orlando’s theme parks and hotels are closed through at least May 31st. The resort has not announced whether the closure will be extended.
