Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood have officially announced the 1980’s thriller movie The Shining as a haunted house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event. This news comes weeks after the news was leaked in an email to travel agents.

According to Universal’s announcement, you’ll come face-to-face with the murderous, ghostly entities around every corner, as well as try to escape the sharpened edge of an axe. The house will give you a unique opportunity to relive iconic—and sinister—moments from the film as you roam through the Overlook Hotel. You will experience the hotel’s history of tragic memories, including caretaker Jack Torrance’s descent into insanity.

Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights event is scheduled to run from September 15th through November 4th. Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights has not listed dates on their event website.
