In a recent statement, Royal Caribbean International has disclosed plans to expand its Royal Beach Club Collection with the launch of a new addition in Cozumel, Mexico, slated for completion in 2026.
“The anticipation for what’s next when it comes to Royal Caribbean destinations has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas that opens in 2025,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection with Royal Beach Club Cozumel. Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico, alongside amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.”
Royal Beach Club Cozumel, the latest endeavor by the cruise line, will offer guests a variety of experiences ranging from relaxing to adventuring. The new experience will be equipped with pools tailored for both relaxation enthusiasts and families, along with swim-up bars, private cabanas, and a selection of aquatic activities, including snorkeling and kayaking, among other features.
Food at Royal Beach Club Cozumel will reflect the local Mexican culinary scene. Guests can enjoy a selection of eateries, including a restaurant, a bar, and a lounge with views and a street market that captures the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine. Additionally, hands-on activities such as tequila tastings and cooking classes will be available to guests.
Additional details about Royal Beach Club Cozumel will be announced in the coming months.
