About a day after Universal Orlando announced Seeds of Extinction, the resort has revealed the 7th house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. The house will be based on the 1982 Poltergeist film, adding to the event’s lineup of intellectual properties. Poltergeist was previously rumored to come, but it was later leaked in a hotel advertisement. The Poltergeist house will also come to life at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The Poltergeist haunted house at both destinations will take guests through many fan-favorite moments. Guests will start their experience being lured into the Freeling family house atop a cemetery. Throughout the house, they’ll encounter ghostly apparitions and infamous scenes, such as the flickering television screen. Ultimately, guests will cross into the “light,” where they’ll find themselves encircled by a landscape of vanishing walls as well as a menacing clown. Either they will return to the world of the living or remain trapped.
