The rumored Blumhouse haunted house has been confirmed for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event in both Orlando and Hollywood, taking guests deep into Blumhouse Productions’ popular films.

At Universal Orlando, guests will enter the Horrors of Blumhouse and make their way through three popular franchises―Sinister, The Purge, and Insidious. “First, guests will face the horror of becoming stars in the next home murder movie of the menacing demon Bughuul, from the infamous Sinister franchise.” Afterward, they’ll escape gangs of home invaders from the first film released for the Purge franchise. Lastly, they’ll enter the Further and come face-to-face with the Lipstick-Face Demon from Insidious: Chapter 1 and witness Elise Rainier’s nightmarish childhood from the upcoming Insidious: Chapter 4 film.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, guests will witness scenes from The Purge, Sinister, and Happy Death Day. During the Purge section, guests will attempt to survive the night of the Purge, an annual 12-hour period during which all criminal activity is legal. During the section based on the upcoming film Happy Death Day, guests will “experience a deja-vu scenario as they are forced to relive the last day of their lives over and over again in an attempt to escape a masked killer.” Finally, the experience ends as  guests “encounter an ancient pagan deity who is determined to trap them in the sordid shadow world of the dead…for all eternity.”
