Disneyland announced today that its French Market Restaurant in the New Orleans Square area is being reimagined into Tiana’s Palace.

The new quick-service restaurant “will have much of the same pinch of pizzazz and flair as the restaurant from the film,” according to Disney’s announcement. It will offer New Orleans flavors inspired by Tiana’s friends and adventures.

Disney did not say whether it will remove any of French Market Restaurant’s current food options but did highlight that Tiana’s Palace will “expand on many of the current favorites served in the location.” Additionally, Tiana’s Palace will also offer seasonal flavors and some New Orleans classics.

French Market Restaurant and Mint Julep Bar will be closed beginning February 17, 2023, to make way for the new dining experience. Tiana’s Palace and Mint Julep Bar will open later this year.
