Universal Orlando Resort has announced that its highly anticipated theme park, Universal Epic Universe, will officially open its gates on May 22, 2025, just in time for Memorial Day weekend as we reported on Tuesday.
The new theme park will feature five distinct themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
In addition to the grand opening date, Universal Orlando has revealed that tickets will be available for purchase starting October 22, 2024. Available tickets include multi-day tickets and vacation packages, which will provide access to Universal’s theme parks, including one-day admission to Epic Universe. These options will include:
- Various multi-day tickets and vacation packages, including three-day, four-day, and five-day admission to Universal Orlando’s theme parks with one-day admission to Epic Universe. These tickets will be made available on October 22.
- Reservations for the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be made available on October 22 for stays beginning May 22, 2025.
- Universal Orlando Annual Passholders will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Epic Universe before they are available to the general public starting October 24. Universal will share Passholder soft opening opportunities at Epic Universe in the coming months.
Further ticket offerings for Epic Universe, such as single-day tickets for the general public, additional multi-day ticket alternatives, exclusive Florida resident tickets, Universal Express passes, and more, will be released at a later time ahead of the park’s grand opening.
