The guest who passed away after riding Universal Orlando’s Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster in November 2025 has now been identified. Authorities have also confirmed the cause of death.

According to a report from the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, Rosas died on December 9, 2025, at Orlando Regional Medical Center, and her death was caused by a ruptured aneurysm without trauma.

Attorney Ben Crump has been retained by Rosas’ family. Crump was also retained by the family of Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, who became unconscious and later died after riding Universal Orlando’s Stardust Racers roller coaster in September 2025.

“Mrs. Rosas went to the park to enjoy time with her children and grandchildren, expecting a safe and joyful experience,” Crump said in a statement. “Instead, her family is now left grieving and searching for answers.”

According to Crump’s office, Rosas’ family is seeking “answers and full transparency regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.”

“They deserve a full understanding of what happened before, during, and after this ride,” Crump said. “We intend to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragedy and ensure her family’s voice is heard.”

Revenge of the Mummy opened at Universal Orlando’s Universal Studios Florida park in 2004. The indoor, high-speed roller coaster plunges riders into darkness, where they encounter fireballs, scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies while fleeing the evil Mummy Imhotep.
