As part of the redevelopment of the Rivers of America for new expansions at Magic Kingdom, including a Cars-themed area called Piston Peak and a Disney Villains-themed land, the Walt Disney World Railroad has undergone significant changes to its operating route.
Currently, the railroad is operating as a shuttle service only between Main Street station and Fantasyland station, leaving out the usual Frontierland stop. Guests can now only travel back and forth between these two stations, rather than completing a full circuit around the park.
Due to the modified route, Disney has debuted new narration for guests to listen to on the backward journey from Main Street, U.S.A. to Fantasyland. This narration prominently features Stitch, who engages in a playful conversation with the conductor throughout the trip. Chris Sanders returned to voice Stitch in the new narration.

As for the ride from Fantasyland to Main Street, U.S.A., guests can expect a familiar narration with only minor updates.
Disney has not announced when the Walt Disney World Railroad will resume its full loop around the park.
