The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has caused both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort to extend their closures “until further notice,” according to the company’s announcement. The destinations had originally planned to remain closed until the end of March to prevent the spread of the virus.

Despite the closures, the Walt Disney Company will continue to pay its hourly parks and resorts cast members through April 18th.

In addition to this, Disney Cruise Line suspended their sailings through April 12th, though it’s likely this date will also be extended.
