With The Wizarding World of Harry Potter grand opening just weeks away, Universal Studios Hollywood dramatically raised their ticket prices on one-day tickets to $115. Guests purchasing tickets online can save up to $25 on tickets (depending upon the selected date) versus front gate admission though on some days prices match the admission at the front gate. This stunning increase now makes a single day ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood more pricey than that of a single day ticket to one of Universal Orlando’s theme parks.
In other news, the park introduced a new annual pass offering 12 months of admission with no black-out dates, complimentary daytime parking, priority boarding for the Studio Tour, one free Halloween Horror Nights ticket on select nights, and exclusive previous, discounts and benefits for a whopping $589, making it more expensive than Universal Orlando’s highest rank annual pass.
