Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay water park will soon shift to a fully cashless payment system, aiming to streamline transactions.

Beginning February 25, 2026, all purchases at Volcano Bay will be completed exclusively through cashless methods. Accepted forms of payment will include credit and debit cards, Universal Pay, Universal Gift Cards, and other tap-to-pay options. Cash payments will no longer be accepted for purchases in the park.

Guests who arrive with cash, however, will still have a way to make purchases. Cash-to-Card Kiosks will be available on-site, allowing guests to convert their cash into a Visa Prepaid card. These prepaid cards can be used not only at Volcano Bay but also anywhere major credit or debit cards are accepted, both inside and outside the resort.
