Fortnite Scare Zone Announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2026

Halloween Horror Nights is bringing the world of Fortnite to life with a new scare zone inspired by Fortnitemares, the game’s annual Halloween event known for its spooky gameplay.

The scare zone, announced for both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, will transport guests into Freaky Fields, a Halloween-inspired battleground where the world of Fortnite has been overtaken by a threatening supernatural force. They’ll encounter the Battle Bus and familiar Fortnitemares characters throughout the scare zone, along with new additions created exclusively for Halloween Horror Nights, as they attempt to escape and claim victory.

Merchandise inspired by the new Fortnitemares scare zone is already available at both Universal destinations. The collection includes a graphic T-shirt, decal set, and acrylic collectible piece. The merchandise will also become available on ShopUniversal.com beginning Thursday, July 23.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will take place on select nights at Universal Orlando Resort from August 28 through November 1. At Universal Studios Hollywood, the event will run on select nights from September 3 through November 1.
