A major renovation of Camping World Stadium is transforming the Orlando venue with expanded seating, new premium spaces, and upgraded facilities designed to accommodate a wider range of events.
Architecture and design firm DLR Group has unveiled its design for the $400 million renovation and expansion project, which will encompass approximately 650,000 square feet of Camping World Stadium.
The project is being funded entirely through Orange County’s Tourist Development Tax, which also supports a new 140,000-square-foot event center planned across from Camping World Stadium along West Church Street. On Tuesday, Orlando’s Municipal Planning Board approved the zoning and conditional use permit needed to replace the former Tabernacle of Praise Ministry building with the new facility.
One of the most significant additions to Camping World Stadium is a new tower along the stadium’s north end zone. The structure will enclose the seating bowl while connecting the stadium’s suite and terrace levels. It will also include escalators, premium seating, and club space.
The terrace-level concourse is receiving its own expansion and renovation, adding new dining options and guest amenities.
The south lower bowl will be equipped with retractable seating, allowing the stadium to create space for concert stages and transition more efficiently between different types of events. New and renovated suites, redesigned entrances, audiovisual upgrades, and a new exterior with programmable lighting are also planned.
Work is already underway at Camping World Stadium, and Orlando city officials expect renovations to be completed by summer 2027. The timeline would allow the stadium to be ready for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are scheduled to play their 2027 season in Orlando.
