Disney has announced new updates and attractions that will be introduced at Disneyland Paris in the years ahead. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest developments.

World Premiere Opening Date Announced

Save the date: May 15, 2025, marks the opening of the World Premiere area, which is a complete reimagining of the former Studio 1 area at Walt Disney Studios Park.

This new park entrance will include an updated interior, featuring new décor, refurbished spaces, and a storyline that immerses guests in a Hollywood premiere experience. It’s part of the rebranding of the park to Disney Adventure World. Here, guests will discover several new locations, including The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, a quick-service restaurant; Searchlight Kiosk, offering a variety of snacks; and Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique.

Upon exploring the World Premiere, guests will find themselves in World Premiere Plaza, an area inspired by Broadway and the West End district. This hub of entertainment will celebrate Disney Animation and Pixar stories through various theaters, showcasing performances such as “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure,” “Mickey and the Magician,” and “Frozen: A Musical Invitation.” Disney Imagineers are working at reimagining pathways, creating murals, introducing new landscaped areas, and Art Deco-inspired street furniture. The transformation of this area is being carried out in phases and is expected to wrap up ahead of the park’s rebranding to Disney Adventure World in 2026.

New “UP” Ride Coming to Adventure Way

Scheduled to open in 2026, a new ride themed around Pixar’s Up was announced today. This family-friendly attraction will be located near the previously announced Raiponce Tangled Spin. The new ride will take the form of a spinning carousel, also known as a swing ride, with construction set to begin by the end of 2025.

World of Frozen and Adventure Way Updates

Imagineers are currently putting the finishing touches on the North Mountain, part of the new World of Frozen area. Nearly 400 tons of metal were used to build the mountain. In the “Frozen Ever After” ride, work on décor and programming the Audio-Animatronics characters is actively underway.

In Adventure Way, themed gardens are taking shape, featuring over 1,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs. Oversized statues of Woody and Jessie will make an appearance in Toy Story Garden. Meanwhile, ride vehicles have arrived for “Raiponce Tangled Spin.” They’re inspired by the boats in the floating lantern scene from Tangled. Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, will reprise her role for a series of recorded announcements for the ride.

“The Lion King” Updates

Disneyland Paris is set to begin construction on the first-ever immersive area dedicated to Disney’s classic animated film, The Lion King, in fall 2025 at Disney Adventure World. It will include dining, shopping, and a new water attraction that will plunge guests deep into the heart of the Pride Lands. On the ride, guests will embark on an adventure alongside Simba and experience iconic songs from the 1994 film.

Guests will journey through the caves beneath the 120-foot-high Pride Rock, creating their own story in the Circle of Life. The ride will be brought to life using special effects and Audio-Animatronics. It will feature three slopes, including a 52-foot-high descent.

Transformations Coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge

Disney has announced a refurbishment for Sequoia Lodge, set to begin in 2026. This project aims to update the hotel while maintaining its wooden décor and warm atmosphere. The redesign will pay tribute to the beauty of nature, incorporating elements that celebrate both classic and contemporary Disney characters who inhabit the forest.

In addition, the replacement of the bungalows at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch continues. The new interior designs will be inspired by the adventures of beloved Disney characters like Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the Junior Woodchucks. Guests can begin to book the first set of new bungalows starting June 12, with availability for stays beginning after the 2025 summer season.

New Stores and Restaurants at Disney Village

As Disney Village continues its transformation, the Disney Glamour and Disney Style stores recently opened their doors. On April 19, a LEGO store and Deco by Disney, a homeware, interior décor, and Disney collectibles store, will open.

In the fall of 2025, the Disney Store will close to make way for Disney Wonders, a retail experience that will showcase all major Disney franchises under one roof.

Following the debut of Brasserie Rosalie in 2023, the restaurant will enhance its offerings with a new terrace called Petite Rosalie.

Additionally, Sports Bar & Lounge will reopen with a new design, increased seating capacity, and an updated menu. Looking ahead to 2026, guests can stop by a state-of-the-art McDonald’s as well as a two-story Italian restaurant called Casa Giulia.
