Disney has revealed a creative plan for a significant transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park, including a decision to rebrand the park as Disney Adventure World. The project heralds the arrival of brand-new thematic attractions, including a land themed to Frozen.
Once guests traverse the turnstiles, they will be welcomed to a reimagined park entrance themed to a modern open-air movie studio, culminating in an illustrious Hollywood film premiere under a sky filled with stars. To manifest this new setting, the interior décor of the existing “soundstage” will undergo an overhaul. The current visuals, which depict a scene on Hollywood Boulevard, will give way to décor that honors the iconic movie theaters of Hollywood and the entertainment industry as a whole. The entrance building itself, soon to be known as World Premiere, will be unveiled in the spring of 2025. Beyond the confines of this entrance, guests will encounter the splendor of World Premiere Plaza. This plaza unites theaters that presently celebrate stories from Disney Animation and Pixar in an elegant, Art Deco-inspired ambiance. The creative minds of Walt Disney Imagineering Paris are working to transform the former central square into an inviting space evoking the legendary façade designs of Broadway and the West End theaters.
To delve further into the park’s themed realms, visitors will follow Adventure Way. At this promenade, fringed by lush gardens, guests can experience Raiponce Tangled Spin, a brand-new family-friendly attraction inspired by the beloved film Tangled. This ride will offer guests an interactive whirl through the film’s iconic floating lantern sequence.
Beyond the thrills and adventures, park-goers will also have the opportunity to savor culinary offerings at The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge. This dining establishment will offer views over Adventure Bay and the chance to meet some of Disney’s Princesses.
