Walt Disney World has officially announced a significant change: it will be phasing out the virtual queue system for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom. This decision marks a new chapter for guests eager to experience these rides without the constraints of a digital waiting list.

Since their respective openings, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in 2022 and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024, both attractions have employed a virtual queue system that required guests to obtain a boarding group through the My Disney Experience app at designated times or when slots are available. They are notified via the app when it’s their turn to experience the attraction.

As of February 25, 2025, both attractions will transition to a regular standby queue. This means guests will have the flexibility to enter the queue at their convenience.
