A ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT took an unexpected turn when guests reportedly jumped out of their boat and into the attraction’s water.
Video of the incident was shared on Instagram on October 6, 2026, by Orlando-area Michelin chef Mike Collantes through his account, @chefmike_collantes. The footage shows one guest standing on a side platform and posing as if preparing to dive before landing in the shallow water in what essentially becomes a belly flop.
The Instagram post states that two guests jumped in the water, although only the second guest can be seen doing so in the footage. A second clip shows the guest back inside the ride vehicle with their clothing, skin, and hair visibly wet.
According to Collantes, the attraction was stopped for about 15 minutes because of the incident. He also said the guests were able to walk off the attraction when it was over and were not approached by security.
It’s unclear if Disney later took action against the guests, including whether they were approached by security, removed from EPCOT, or banned from Walt Disney World.
A call for a trespass was recorded at EPCOT at 8:20 p.m. on October 6, roughly an hour after the video was posted. However, we do not have confirmation on if the call was connected to the Gran Fiesta Tour incident.
The Gran Fiesta Tour takes guests on a gentle boat journey through Mexico, featuring the Three Caballeros, Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito.
