Volcano Bay water theme park, which is scheduled to open on May 25th, will be a revolutionary water park featuring immersive environments with a massive volcano, exhilarating rides, and more. It completely redefines what a water park is, and one of the most exciting features yet is the park’s Virtual Line system called TapuTapu wearable.
Volcano Bay was designed to be entirely different from currently existing water parks. It was designed to be an experience like no other — and that’s exactly what it is. Volcano Bay has amenities spread throughout the 28-acre property so that you don’t have to return to the front of the park each time they wish to order a meal, for example. Additionally, you will not be required to carry your tubes for attractions and best of all . . . there will be no need to wait in long lines. Volcano Bay will feature, as previously mentioned, a Virtual Line system called TapuTapu that will allow you to virtually wait in line while exploring the rest of the park. But TapuTapu wearable does far more than this. The waterproof wristband, which will be free of charge, also allows you to illuminate hidden images and far more.
TapuTapu wearable eliminates the need to physically wait in line — you won’t have to do that. Instead, you can simply visit a totem at the front of the attraction you wish to ride and tap your wristband on it; you will receive a return time. While you “wait,” you can enjoy the other experiences the park has to offer in its four themed areas. But that’s not all! The wristband gives you the capability to control streams of water spurting from whales in the reef, shoot water cannons, and illuminate images in the volcano’s hidden caves (pictured above). A video of the wristband is included at the top of this article.
