Universal Orlando Resort is bringing the vibrant spirit of Mardi Gras to life with a sensational live concert series headlined by Grammy winner DJ Khaled, pop sensation Ava Max, and more. From February 3 through April 7, 2024, Universal Orlando will host its annual Mardi Gras event, and the resort has just shared an announcement about the festivities arriving at this year’s event.
A Parade of Elements
This year’s theme for the Mardi Gras parade will be depicted across six new floats showcasing Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun, and the moon. These elemental spectacles will be accompanied by high-energy music, performers in elaborate costumes, and a joyful shower of beads.

A Feast of Flavors
Embracing the tradition of Mardi Gras, Universal Orlando Resort will also pay homage to the eclectic tastes of New Orleans, Spain, China, Germany, and beyond with an inspiring menu featuring more than 60 tastings. The classic Fried Green Tomato Po’boy and Beignets will represent the New Orleans. Meanwhile, the flavors from Germany’s Chicken Schnitzel, Mexico’s Chilaquiles Verdes, and more will transport food lovers across continents, creating an international tapestry of tastes.
