A guest at Walt Disney World reportedly exited a ride vehicle on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure while the attraction was climbing toward its main drop, bringing the Magic Kingdom attraction to a temporary stop.
The incident was captured in a video shared by Instagram user bandmugs on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, showing the man being escorted from the attraction by a Cast Member, although it does not show the moment he got out of the vehicle.
According to bandmugs, the ride was stopped for more than 20 minutes. The Instagram user also said that the guest left his child in the ride vehicle. It is unclear what happened after the man was escorted away, and Disney has not publicly provided additional details about the incident.
The Walt Disney World incident comes several months after a similar situation at Disneyland. On June 21, a 13-year-old guest exited a vehicle on Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before the attraction had finished. The ride was immediately stopped, and the guest was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being released. Video from that incident shows the teenager going down the attraction’s 50-foot drop after leaving the vehicle. The attraction was reopened the following day.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which replaced Splash Mountain, features a log-flume-style ride through a story inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.
