Spirit Christmas is coming to Florida this holiday season.
The Christmas-themed counterpart to Spirit Halloween is opening four seasonal stores across Florida in 2026, including a new location in the Orlando area. Just a few miles north of Walt Disney World, the store will open on October 15 at 3049 Daniels Road, Suite 220C, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Forever 21 previously occupied the space.
The three other Florida stores will open on November 6. They include a Clearwater location at 2522 McMullen Booth Road, a Coral Springs store at 725 N University Drive, and a Jacksonville location at 6000 Lake Gray Blvd, Suite XD. Those locations previously housed Stein Mart, Big Lots, and Bealls, respectively.
Spirit Christmas follows the same seasonal-retail concept that has made Spirit Halloween a familiar sight in vacant shopping center spaces each fall. Stores take over empty storefronts for a limited period and transform them into holiday shops filled with Christmas decorations, stocking stuffers, apparel, inflatables, and other seasonal merchandise. Select locations also offer photo opportunities and visits from Santa.
Spencer Gifts, the company behind Spirit Halloween, first tested Spirit Christmas in 2024 with eight stores in the Northeast. The concept grew to 30 locations last year, and the 2026 expansion will bring the total to 38 stores across 15 states.
