Walt Disney World has unveiled new details about the brand-new lounge set to open at EPCOT. The lounge, themed after Spaceship Earth, is named GEO-82, likely referencing both Spaceship Earth itself and the year the park opened—1982.
GEO-82 is an exclusive lounge for adults, offering a selection of “innovative cocktails and globally influenced small plates,” Disney shared. This lounge, boasting views of EPCOT, “will surround you with iconic shapes and intricate structures inspired by the park’s instantly-recognizable icon”—Spaceship Earth.
When GEO-82 opens, it will offer reservations for guests 21 and older. Disney previously shared that the lounge will open in late spring 2025. However, further details about the lounge, including reservation availability, the specific opening date, and the menu offerings—both drinks and food—have yet to be revealed.
GEO-82 isn’t the only new lounge in the works at Walt Disney World; another themed establishment inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean is also slated to debut at Magic Kingdom Park later this year.
