Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled the final trailer and a new poster for Zootopia 2, coming to theaters this November. The sequel follows Detectives Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman, as they return for a new case.
In Zootopia 2, Judy, a bunny rabbit cop and Nick, a con artist fox, team up again to investigate a mysterious new character: Gary De’Snake, a pit viper voiced by Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan. Gary De’Snake arrives in the city of Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down, prompting Judy and Nick to go undercover to unexpected new parts of town to crack the case.
Joining the cast of Zootopia 2 are Fortune Feimster as Nibbles Maplestick, a conspiracy-obsessed beaver, and Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, a quokka therapist assigned to help Nick and Judy. Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song also lend their voices to Cattrick Lynxley and Kitty Lynxley, respectively—two members of Zootopia’s most prominent families. The animated sequel also sees the return of Shakira as Gazelle, Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Bonnie Hunt as Bonnie Hopps, Don Lake as Stu Hopps, and Nate Torrence as Clawhauser.
Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. The new film is set to arrive in theaters on November 26, 2025.
