AMC Theatres has announced another price increase for its A-List membership, pointing to ongoing expenses tied to running its cinemas.
Beginning July 15, the monthly fee for the Stubs A-List plan will rise to $29.99, marking a $2 increase from its previous adjustment in May 2025.
Members will still be able to watch up to four movies per week across all available formats, including premium options like Dolby Cinema. The membership will also continue to include complimentary size upgrades on popcorn and fountain drinks, along with a rewards incentive that grants $5 for every $50 spent.
The A-List program first launched in 2018 with a monthly rate of $19.95, allowing members to see up to three movies per week at the time.
In a message to customers, AMC CEO Adam Aron acknowledged the price increase while emphasizing the value of the subscription.
“Even with this necessary price adjustment, A-List continues to offer you exceptional value, often costing only the price of seeing about one to two movies per month, especially when you enjoy premium formats or reserve tickets online. It really is now — and will continue to be — a terrific bargain.”
