Walt Disney World Releases 2027 Tickets with New Record-High Costs

Walt Disney World has opened the first phase of ticket sales for 2027, giving guests the ability to purchase theme park tickets through October 31, 2027, and the release brings a new milestone, with ticket prices reaching record highs that exceed even the peak rates seen in 2026.

Disney’s date-based pricing model means costs fluctuate throughout the year, but the highest single-day ticket prices in 2027 have climbed across most parks:

Magic Kingdom: $219 (up from $209 in 2026)
EPCOT: $214 (up from $199)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $209 (up from $204)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: unchanged at $184

For families visiting during a peak period, the price increase adds up quickly. A one-day visit to Magic Kingdom, the resort’s most visited park, for a family of four (two adults and two children ages 3–9, with children’s tickets discounted by $5) now totals $866 before tax, or $922.30 after tax.

Despite the rising top-tier prices in Florida, Disney continues to offer lower-cost entry points. One-day tickets will still start at $119 for adults, with those lowest rates available on select dates in August and September 2027.

For comparison, at Tokyo Disney Resort—widely viewed by fans as one of the most immersive Disney destinations—a peak-day adult ticket in 2026 (through July) is priced at 10,900 yen, or about $68.38 USD based on Morningstar exchange rates at the time of publication. Notably, the resort is owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company, rather than Disney itself. While overall trip costs for U.S. families may be higher due to airfare, the admission price to visit one of the resort’s two theme parks remains significantly lower.
