The Universal Epic Universe Preview Center is scheduled to close effective April 13, clearing the way for the return of the Universal Legacy Store to its former location in late April. The store will feature retro-themed merchandise and photo opportunities inspired by classic Universal Studios Florida attractions and films from Universal Pictures, including E.T., Jaws, Back to the Future, and Universal Monsters.

A new Five Guys location is also planned for CityWalk, with an expected opening later this summer. The restaurant will take over the current Burger King Whopper Bar space, which is scheduled to close effective April 21.

Looking further ahead, plans for Luke Combs’ Category 10—first announced in February—call for a brand-new waterfront venue, with construction beginning this summer and completion expected in 2027. The venue, developed in partnership with Luke Combs and Opry Entertainment Group, will feature live music along with food and beverage offerings.
