A Walt Disney World guest was filmed swimming in Seven Seas Lagoon near Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, despite swimming being prohibited in the resort’s freshwater waterways.
Video shared on TikTok a few days ago by user @mommakingmagic3 shows the guest in the lagoon after dark near the resort’s dock. After spending time in the water, the guest can be seen climbing a ladder onto the dock and walking away from the area.

Swimming is not permitted in Seven Seas Lagoon or other freshwater bodies located throughout Walt Disney World property. Signs posted around the lagoon warn guests to stay away from the water and highlight potential dangers associated with Florida’s freshwater environments.
Those warnings include the presence of alligators and snakes, which are most common in freshwater areas throughout the state. The restrictions are intended to keep guests out of potentially hazardous waterways.
It is not known whether Disney security or other resort personnel intervened or took any action against the guest following the incident.
