We stopped by EPCOT to highlight the latest happenings in the park. This photo update showcases new developments at the park, including updates to Test Track, as well as a variety of new merchandise available for purchase. Check out our coverage for more information on what’s new at EPCOT.

Speed Humps Installed

Two sets of speed humps have now been added to the road leading up to the EPCOT tollbooth. Previously, speed humps were only located immediately before the booths. While the rumble strips, which remain in place, were designed to warn drivers to reduce their speed, these new speed humps provide a more effective means of slowing down traffic.

World Celebration Light-up Pavement Blocked

In World Celebration, the illuminated pavement areas have been sectioned off with stanchions.

It’s actually not uncommon to see stanchions in this area, but they typically only section off smaller portions. This time, however, they enclose nearly the entire illuminated pavement area.

As you can see, some of the light strips are not flush with the ground and are slightly elevated, potentially creating a tripping hazard. These stanchions are intended to block areas identified as hazardous. These pavement lights have presented various issues for Disney since debuting in December 2023.

Test Track

Disney announced that Test Track will officially reopen on July 22, 2025.

As we previously covered, the construction walls in front of Test Track have recently been removed. Access to the ride is now restricted by rolling hedges instead.

The new Test Track sign is slightly visible just above the rolling hedges.

Signs indicating the entrances for standby, single rider, and Lightning Lane are now turned on.

Here are some additional photos of the Test Track exterior.

You can see stanchions set up outside for the queue.

The Test Track exit gift shop is also blocked off with rolling hedges.

As mentioned in our previous update, new signage has been installed for the gift shop, now named Test Track Gear Shop. This replaces the former name, Test Track SIMporium, from the previous iteration of Test Track.

The Seas Pavilion

A new curved element has been added to the overhang above the entrance of the SeaBase Gift Shop at The Seas pavilion. It’s covered by scrim, but it’s likely to be a new sign.

New Green Goblin Merchandise

New Green Goblin merchandise from Spider-Man: No Way Home is now on sale at Treasures of Xandar, the gift shop for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Among the offerings is a premium roleplay Green Goblin helmet, which is on display.

The helmet features an adjustable fit, along with interior detailing, and comes with a display stand. It is priced at $139.99.

Additionally, a Green Goblin Pumpkin is available for purchase. It features three different light-up modes and is priced at $39.99.

EPCOT Starbucks Mug

New Starbucks mugs have recently debuted for each of the Walt Disney World parks. Here’s a look at the EPCOT mug from all angles. It showcases Figment, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and more. The mug costs $24.99.

Stitch Loungefly

There’s a new Stitch Loungefly mini backpack. The bag sports a pastel blue and pink color scheme. It’s designed to resemble Stitch himself, complete with ears sticking out of the sides of the bag. The back showcases an animated image of Stitch. The bag sports a blue and pink paste color scheme. We spotted this item at Creations Shop, but it should be available at various shops throughout Walt Disney World. It costs $90.

Mickey & Minnie Loungefly

A new embroidered canvas Loungefly backpack is now available for purchase. This red bag features Mickey and Minnie balloons. It’s priced at $80. We saw this in Creations Shop, but it may be available at other stores as well.

Soarin’ Magnet

Also available at Creations Shop is a new Soarin’ magnet. The design is reminiscent of pilot wings, showcasing a globe at the center and Mickey Mouse in a pilot outfit to the left. The globe highlights the various countries you visit during the ride. This product costs $14.99.

That concludes this photo update at EPCOT.
